Pavle Spasojevic, Doctor of Chemical Engineering, was born on 12th Septembar 1982 in Cacak, Serbia. In 2001 he entered the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade where in 2006 received an Master Degree and a PhD in 2012, both in materials science and engineering.

Dr Pavle Spasojevic now works as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Cacak and Associate researcher at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade. Dr Spasojevic research is focused on the development of new biobased materials and improving materials synthesis in order to reduce the impact this may have on the environment and on human health. He published 35 papers and one book.

Dr Spasojevic was principal investigator in several industrial projects that as a result had commercial products. He is chief executive officer and founder of Technology Run, company specialized in transferring of basic science research and fundamental discoveries into practical and commercially relevant applications, products or process.
